About This Game

recovery_sewers.vid is a first-person horror game with a found-footage aesthetic. On Halloween night, a game of hide-and-seek in the town's abandoned sewers turns into a nightmare when something else joins the game.

A challenge they should never have accepted

David and his friends—Sofía, Sebastian, and Gabriel—enter the sewers to complete a school challenge: to play hide-and-seek in the abandoned tunnels.

While the others look for places to hide, David begins counting to one hundred. When he finishes, he goes out to look for them. But something has changed.

The laughter has vanished. No one answers his calls. Silence fills the corridors where, just moments before, his friends had been.

Venture into the darkness

Step into David’s shoes and explore the flooded tunnels in search of his friends. Amid the darkness and the sounds coming from the depths, every clue raises new questions about what happened while he was counting.

The further you go, the harder it is to believe they’re simply still hiding. There are strange signs in the sewers. Noises you can’t explain. Evidence of an uninvited presence.

Finding Sofía, Sebastian, and Gabriel forces you to keep going, even when what you hear makes you want to turn back.

Horror Through the Camera

The found-footage aesthetic and first-person perspective immerse you in David’s experience. The narrow tunnels, the water, and the darkness set the stage for a children’s game that has lost all innocence.

What began as a simple rule—count to one hundred and find your friends—now raises a disturbing question: Who else is playing?
