About This Game

A quiet server room. Eight empty racks, 3,072 ports, and a wall of cable. Cable Management Simulator is a cozy first-person game about doing one job properly, at your own pace, with nobody watching the clock.

Measure it. Cut it. Plug it in.

Trace the route. Pull exactly that much cable. Cut it, run it, plug it in. Cut it right and it snaps into a perfect run, straight and square. Cut it long and it sags. Forever. Every time you walk past.

No timers. No pressure.

Work orders chatter out of the printer on the desk. Take one, or don't. Fill the racks top to bottom or run every cable across the ceiling because it looks cooler. Nothing expires. Nothing is refused.

Make it yours

Every job pays. Spend it on faster tools, twenty kinds of cable, and eventually a way to wire a whole panel from across the room. Or on the room itself: floors, walls, lamp colours, rack patterns, LED strips. Then sit at the beige computer and play a round of Snake.

End of shift

Hit the light switch. The room goes dark, and every port you connected is a little green light.

Trace the route

Plan out your cables for the perfect install. Tracing allows you to keep track of route lengths and placements. 

Install the lead

Players are rewarded for planning out and installing accordingly. Unlock special cable types, colour code and watch your racks grow. 

Unlock Abilities

Earn as you play. Maximise profit by following the orders. Unlock special abilities allowing you save time on those pesky little tasks. Auto suggest routes, cut multiple cables and even auto dress your racks.

And then there is God mode...

Customize your room

Not feeling the vibe? As you progress you can unlock customizations for your room. Set the mood and the room your own. 

Customize your racks

Finished a rack? Cover up those gaps and close the door. Rack customization allows you to move items around, close off management bars, colour everything individually and pick from a range of patterns. It's your rack.  

Play minigames, unlock customisations and abilities

Manage all ability and customization from a centralized terminal. Need a break? Enjoy a minigame.
