About This Game

In Rotten Crown, death is just another step in the workforce pipeline. As a highly unethical Ruler, make decisions on whether to sacrifice the living or put them to work. Gather resources, assign jobs and expand your increasingly questionable kingdom. Take care of your settlers and you may see them grow into their full potential. And when they can’t keep up with your standards, you and your enormous axe can surely find ways to make them useful. Your Royal hands are dirty either way.

The undead aren't evil. They're part of the world and rather difficult to manage. Observe and learn their patterns, build your defenses and redirect their undead energy into something vaguely useful. Use the remains of the previously sacrificed victims to befriend the undead on your side. When your living workers need a well-deserved rest, your zombie workforce can take over the shift.

Plan your growth, and make difficult decisions early. There is no perfect path, not every mouth is worth feeding, and not every zombie is worth killing. Adapt to whatever goes wrong. Rework your plans, adjust your priorities, and prepare to make entirely new mistakes tomorrow.
