About This Demo

THREE IN A ROW IS NOT A WIN

It is a discharge. Line up three of your marks and they detonate: the marks burn, the hostile process takes the damage. A line of four hits nearly twice as hard. A line of five, three times over.

Every turn the process writes its own marks back onto the grid. If three of those line up, they detonate into you.

WHAT IS IN THE DEMO

Four sectors instead of eight, about twenty minutes a run. The STANDARD core. Cards and modules are drawn from the full pool, so no two runs build the same. It ends on a sector boss.


Clear a sector, take a module. ECHO leaves one mark standing after every blast. INFECTION flips the enemy marks next to it. CHAIN REACTION doubles the bonus at every step of a cascade. Two or three together stop being upgrades and become a machine.

DUEL A FRIEND — ONLINE OR ON ONE SCREEN

The online duel is in the demo too. Invite a friend from Steam and fight on the same grid: your marks against theirs, one card per turn, first to two sector wins takes the match. The demo is free, so your friend can grab it and accept the invite right away.

No friend online? Sit down together at one computer — your hand hides while you pass the turn.

WHAT IS IN THE FULL GAME

Four more sectors and four different finales. Seven cores, with 4x4, 5x5 and 6x6 grids. Six difficulty protocols, a daily challenge, an endless mode past the core and twenty-five achievements.
