About This Game

Rewolt is a dark fantasy RPG, heavily inspired by hardcore old-school classics from the 2000's. Handcrafted by a small but experienced team of about 10 developers, Rewolt aims to reignite the passion for classic RPGs.

Welcome to No Man's Land

Rewolt features an unapologetic story of power, spirituality, magic, and religion, where player choices actually matter. Set on the fictional continent of Tellus, in a remote canyon area called "No Man's Land," forsaken by everyone except the natives and the great Legion of Vallador.

In a world broken by conquest and corrupted by the mysterious element "Woltium", your choices will decide the fate of the whole continent. Rewolt puts you in the role of a nameless protagonist caught between two warring factions. At some point in your journey through the No Man's Land, you have to make an important decision. 

Gameplay

All playstyles in Rewolt, be it melee, magic, or ranged, use the universal combo system, which rewards good timing and positioning in battles. Besides the integral combo system, Rewolt's combat relies on cooldowns and does not utilize stamina or mana systems!

With zero-to-hero character progression and no level scaling systems, Rewolt aims to reignite the passion for classic RPGs once again. 

Immersive Open World 

To bring this world to life, people from both factions will have NPC schedules with a unique set of activities during the day-night cycle. You will have a great deal of freedom when interacting with people from both factions. Make friends, enemies, or simply ignore what doesn't concern you. But every action or inaction will eventually have consequences on the world around you, especially after the chapter changes.

We want to encourage exploration but with no modern hand-holding features like "yellow paint" or even quest markers. Instead, we rely on the player's intuition, NPCs, and the world design itself for subtle guidance. 

Each enemy you face has a fixed level depending on the area you explore, and you can even stumble upon a very dangerous monster in the starting zones if you're curious enough.

• Story: Take the role of a nameless protagonist who miraculously came back to life. Discover the real truth behind your death, survive the inhospitable environment, and help your chosen faction gain the upper hand in a bitter conflict that will change the world forever. 

• Exploration: Explore a dense, hand-crafted open world focused on meaningful and rewarding exploration. Since there is no level scaling in Rewolt, danger looms behind every corner. The world outside of two major camps is not for the unprepared.

• Dynamic World: Interact with named characters across both major camps and out in the open wilderness—each with their own stories and quests to discover. In a simulated environment of both camps, people will go to work, eat, sleep, and perform other daily routines. 

• Two Unique Factions: Once you join a faction, there is no going back. Make allies, uncover secrets, and experience faction-exclusive storylines.

• High replay value: With two distinct endings and faction-driven story paths, a single playthrough barely scratches the surface of what Rewolt has to offer.
