Coming Soon To Early Access

The developers of this game intend to release as a work in progress, developing with the feedback of players.

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“CyberSprawl: Aquarium is built around a relaxed aquarium that players can return to over time. We want player feedback on collection pacing, breeding and genetics, local NPC trading, salvage fishing and everyday usability while we refine the experience. Early Access gives us a way to learn how the game feels across longer play sessions and different computers.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect CyberSprawl: Aquarium to remain in Early Access for approximately 6–12 months after its Early Access launch. During this time, we plan to refine progression, breeding, fishing, habitat management and Neon Clash, alongside performance and usability improvements. This estimate may change based on testing and community feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to refine progression and balance, tutorials, menus, creature movement, water effects and performance. We would also like to expand aquarium decoration and boat customization, including paint and lighting options. The scope may change with testing and feedback; these are development intentions rather than guaranteed additions or a fixed completion schedule.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version is a playable single-player idle aquarium featuring biological, robotic and cyborg aquatic creatures. Players can fish for new creatures, hatch capsules, breed creatures with inherited traits, acquire and manage multiple habitats, decorate their aquariums, and sell fish to local NPC buyers for in-game credits. Neon Clash is available as a beta practice battle mode featuring creatures from your collection. The game includes local saves and bounded offline progression. Online multiplayer and trading with real players are not currently available. Balance, usability, presentation and performance are still being refined, and players may encounter bugs.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to increase the base-game price as we add content and improve the experience, with a higher price planned for full release. Players who purchase during Early Access will receive the full base game at no additional charge. Optional paid DLC may be offered separately in the future.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to use Steam discussions and the CyberSprawl Discord for bug reports, suggestions and feedback. We are especially interested in progression pacing, genetics and item clarity, fishing controls, accessibility and performance. Player feedback will help us prioritize improvements, although we cannot promise that every suggestion will be implemented.”

About This Game

Build a neon aquarium full of biological, cyborg and robotic life. Fish for new arrivals, hatch and breed your collection, make room across multiple habitats, and bring your favorites into Neon Clash. CyberSprawl: Aquarium is a single-player idle collection game.

BUILD YOUR NEON AQUARIUM

Start with a tank and make it your own. Arrange furnishings, care for your residents and collect their Credits. Acquire new habitats and manage several aquariums as your collection grows.

CAST A LINE. FIND SOMETHING NEW.

Take the boat into salvage waters, watch for a bite and work the reel to bring your catch aboard. Discover aquatic companions, supplies and recovered furnishings. Upgrade your fishing tools and unlock different boats as your keeper level grows.

HATCH, BREED AND COLLECT

Open capsules to meet new arrivals, then pair compatible creatures and follow inherited traits. Biological companions breed; machines combine fabrication patterns. Compare your discoveries, name your favorites and protect the residents you want to keep.

BRING YOUR FAVORITES TO NEON CLASH

Choose two creatures from your collection for Neon Clash, a beta practice battle mode. Pick your moves and watch your companions face off in the arena. Duels use practice copies, so your aquarium residents remain safe. Neon Clash is currently single-player.

SELL FISH. GROW YOUR COLLECTION.

Browse NPC listings, visit their aquariums and sell selected creatures to local AI buyers. Trading and visits take place within your single-player game. Only creatures you explicitly list can be sold.

COME BACK TO A LITTLE MORE LIFE

Your collection keeps progressing while you are away, within an offline progress limit. Return to a summary of what happened, care for your companions and choose your next project. Habitat stasis pauses residents’ needs when you want to take a break.
