A Workshop at the End of the Old World

The world has changed. Cities have fallen, factories have gone silent, and much of the technology people once relied on has been forgotten.

But life goes on.

Small settlements have formed among the ruins, where people trade, rebuild, and make use of whatever they can find. Old electronics, broken tools, and forgotten inventions are valuable again.

In Beyond Repair, you run a small repair workshop in one of these settlements. People come to you with things they can't fix themselves. Some need their equipment working again. Others simply can't let go of something from the past.

Your job is to give these objects another chance.

Meet the Locals

Open your workshop and meet the people who live around you. Hunters, traders, and other survivors bring in broken equipment, offer deals, and share stories about life beyond your walls.

Get to know your customers, decide which jobs to take, and earn money to keep your workshop running.

Take It Apart. Fix It. Put It Back Together.

Every repair is a hands-on process. Examine damaged objects, carefully disassemble them, clean away dirt and rust, find faulty components, and replace or repair what no longer works.

Use different tools, follow schematics in your notebook, and learn how each device fits together.

From simple desk lamps to old mechanical devices and electronics, there's always something new on your workbench.

Repair It. Then Use It.

Not everything you restore has to be sold.

Some objects can become part of your workshop, while others can actually be used. Fix an old handheld game console, switch it on, and spend a little time playing the game you brought back to life.

Sometimes the best reward is simply seeing something work again.

Explore old technology, restore unusual finds, and discover objects from a world that no longer exists.

Buy, sell, and trade with visiting merchants. Collect interesting items, expand your tools, and fill your workshop with things you've repaired along the way.

And as you work, you'll gradually learn more about the world outside, the people who survived, and the technology they left behind.
