You are the Accursed, a herald of Death sent to the mortal world to guide souls to passage and bring peace to what is left after the Unbecoming. Traverse a hand-drawn post-calamity fantasy world and experience adrenaline-filled combat where your margin of error is as slim as it gets.

2-HP SYSTEM

The Accursed is always threading the edge of life and death. When damaged, you run the risk of instant death, unless you can harvest the grief of your enemies with attacks to heal. Every enemy is a threat that can take you down in two well-placed strikes, but you’re never out of the fight if you can pull off a few key attacks and heal yourself.

SKILL SWAPS & BUILDS

The Accursed has access to a wide range of interchangeable active and passive abilities, allowing for a diverse range of builds and gameplay styles that modify your movement, attacks, and healing to match how you play. Soulbinds allow you to heal more easily but come with unique drawbacks, challenging you to decide what you can afford to sacrifice.

BUILT UPON REMEMBRANCE

Explore a remnant world trapped in mourning itself, with player choices determining which souls will be put to rest, and what abilities the Accursed will accrue over the course of the game. Decide when or if you will grant the mercy — or, perhaps, cruelty — of death.
