About This Game

Every card can be used to attack or defend!

Soul Gathering is a roguelike deck-building game where you fight with cards that wear down with each use.

Will you use a card in your hand to attack, commit it to defense, or save it for later?

As you progress, you must think not only about defeating the enemy in front of you, but also about what to keep for the battles ahead.

No mana and no costs!

You can play every card you draw during that turn. Combine red Attack cards and blue Spell cards to launch an all-out offensive or strengthen your defenses.

But just because you can play them all does not mean you should.

Enemies act multiple times during a turn. After each action, reassess the situation and decide which cards to use and which to keep.

Run out of cards, and you lose—even with HP remaining!

Cards have durability, which decreases by 1 each time they are used. A card disappears when its durability reaches 0 and does not return during that run.

Winning a battle restores the durability of your remaining cards. Vanished cards do not return, so the more you rely on a card, the more carefully you must choose when to use it.

If you run out of cards in both your deck and your hand, you lose immediately, even if you still have HP.

Seven souls. Each character changes how you use your cards!

Choose one of seven souls for your run: the Hero, Monk, Witch, Knight, Samurai, Vampire, or Necromancer.

Each has unique cards. Use their powerful unique effects to defeat your enemies!

Two areas. Which cards will you keep for the boss battle?

A boss with unique effects awaits at the end of each area.

Will you spend cards freely along the way to protect your HP, or conserve cards for the boss and find a way through the current fight? The right strategy depends on your hand and the path you choose.

Enemies also have their own unique effects. Even with the same deck, your approach changes with each opponent.

Each run is designed to be played in a relatively short time. Even after a defeat, you can keep trying different ways to use your cards and different routes.

Ten levels of Collapse difficulty!

Each time you defeat a boss, you can take on the next level with that character.

Even when you lose, the number of rooms you have cleared keeps adding up, unlocking new cards and characters.

Specify a Worldline (seed) to face the same map and enemies again. You can also use it to share and test strategies.
