About This Game

You are given a simple task: find the target on the map.
The problem is that almost nothing you receive can be trusted.

Liar’s Front is a narrative deduction game where you analyze conflicting military intelligence to locate targets on a tactical map. Read reports, compare witness accounts, and reconstruct events before sending your conclusions to headquarters.

A scout places the enemy near one village. A field report claims they crossed the river hours ago. Another officer insists the road is clear. Someone is mistaken. Someone may be lying.

Build your case

• Examine conflicting evidence. Compare reports and witness accounts to identify contradictions and decide which information holds up.

• Work directly with the tactical map. Trace routes, check distances, and compare timelines to narrow down the target’s location.

• Reach a conclusion. Use the evidence to identify false information, mark the target on the map, and submit your findings to headquarters.

• Face the consequences. Your intelligence changes operations and shapes the branching story. People remember your decisions, including your mistakes.

• Investigate new situations each day. Piece together another part of the war from a new set of unreliable reports.

You are not looking for the most convincing story. You need to establish what actually happened—and where the evidence leads.
