A creature to raise, and sixty-five races to run

Munshi Meadows is a garden full of small, round animals that are entirely your own. Hatch one, feed it, pet it, teach it a talent, and watch what it grows into. Every Munshi comes from one of forty families, in three alignments, and what it eats and does decides which of them it becomes.

Thirteen cups, sixty-five courses

Racing runs on five skills (running, swimming, climbing, flying and wits) and every course asks for a different mix of them. The Beginner Cup is five short runs through the countryside. After that: the glowing caves, a live volcano, the high passes in winter, a drowned kingdom, the heavens, the pit, deep space, a neon city at night, a carnival adrift among the stars, a mountain shrine with a dragon coiled round it, and, at the very end, one night's sleep in which a Munshi dreams its way back out through every world it has ever raced in.

Fights, puzzles and the Gauntlet

Take your Munshi into fighting championships and puzzle trials, on your own or in a bracket with a friend. When it is ready, run the Gauntlet: every course in the game, shuffled, with three hearts to lose and a boon to pick after every win.

Four lifetimes

A Munshi lives about a day, then is reborn as a pup with everything it learned and a little more besides. Four lives in, it comes back as its pinnacle form for good. Its markings, its family and its nature are all inherited, so a line of Munshis is a line you made.

A garden of your own

Build it with over a hundred pieces: ponds and lakes to dig, trees that fruit, toys they actually play on, buildings they sleep and hatch in, and giant stacking rocks you can pile into a rockscape with a waterfall down it. They will find all of it themselves. Win every course of a cup at Expert and its world becomes a garden theme: a mushroom grotto, a lawn on a cloud, a neon rooftop, a shrine on a mountain top, a castle's walled garden, and more.

Dress them up

Button & Bow sells forty-two hats, glasses, necklaces and capes, from a straw hat to a dragon scarf, and your Munshi wears them everywhere, races included.

Together

Visit a friend's garden over Steam and show it off, race them, fight them, take on their puzzles, or put two Munshis together and see what hatches.
