About This Game

Take control of a soul and enter the mysterious world of ORAE.

Once inhabited by humans and souls, this world is now abandoned, scattered with artefacts and marked by the scars of a past disaster.

Here, what you learn is what allows you to progress.

Explore different places, meet the last survivors of humankind, and learn how to interact with the world around you. Collect floppy disks to gain knowledge and clues about the workings of this world.

EXPLORE A WORLD THAT DOESN'T TELL YOU WHERE TO GO

There is no single way forward. Revisit places with newfound knowledge: a detail you overlooked, a mechanism you didn't understand, or a piece of information found somewhere else may completely change what you can do. The world is interconnected, and knowledge is your main ability.

DISCOVER HOW THINGS WORK

Souls are a source of energy. So are you.

Enter machines to power them and manipulate mechanisms to progress further. Solve puzzles involving lights, cogs, motors and other contraptions. Here and there, you will also find messages... can you decipher them?

MEET THIS WORLD'S LAST INHABITANTS

The last humans live on among the ruins of the world they once ruled. You can talk to them, learn their stories, and help them if your heart is pure. You will also encounter other souls, like yours, scattered throughout the world. Find them to get stronger.
