THE MESH REMEMBERS

Every crater in Death Galaxy is real geometry — the planet mesh is tessellated, cut and rebuilt as a bowl, live, in the frame you fire. Scorch bakes into the vertices, so ground you blackened an hour ago is still black when you come back for the rest of it.

THE DEAD ARE COUNTED, NOT ESTIMATED

Every planet ships a baked population grid: absolute head counts per texel. Drop a warhead on an empty basin and you get a crater. Drop it on a coastal city belt and the kill feed tells you exactly what the difference was. That number is your currency — one Megadeath is one million confirmed dead, and it's the only thing doctrine costs.

NINE WAYS TO END A WORLD

Warheads from 1 KT to 2 MT. An orbital laser that bores clean through. A kinetic impactor with no explosive at all. A singularity you can steer while it feeds. Grey goo that crawls and chews without you. A planet cracker that splits hemispheres apart. Machine gun fire on a civilian population. Fracture charges that grow branching fissures until two networks cascade into each other. And a tsunami charge that never touches the mesh — it drops into open ocean and a solved wavefront does the rest.

THE VERDICT'S ROUTE

The Fleet's flagship burns across seventy-two worlds toward the Concord capital, taking one shard of the Founding Charts from each sector it leaves behind. Nine shards give the way to the world that shut its gates on them three hundred years ago.

You're at the console. The Commander gives the orders. Your adjutant reads out the arsenal — and somewhere around the Scarred Belt, starts reading the records instead.

The seventy-third world is Earth. Nobody says the name until the chart is finished. Then you make the last call, and there are two ways it goes.
