Why Early Access?

“We want to develop BadDubs alongside the community and use Early Access to receive player feedback while the game continues to grow.

The initial Early Access version will include 5 playable dubs. During development, we plan to progressively add new dubbing projects, with the goal of reaching approximately 50 dubs.

We also plan to use community feedback to improve Story Mode, expand and refine the Dubbing Editor, and improve the overall experience.

Early Access will allow us to hear directly from players, discover what works, identify what needs improvement, and explore new ideas that could make BadDubs even more fun.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently plan for BadDubs to remain in Early Access for approximately one year.

During this period, we expect to progressively expand the content, add new dubbing projects, and continue working on Story Mode, the Dubbing Editor, and other features.

The duration of Early Access may change depending on the development process and feedback from the community.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version will be a playable version of BadDubs that will continue to evolve throughout development. It will launch with 5 playable dubs, and we plan to progressively add new dubbing projects with the goal of reaching approximately 50 dubs.

We also plan to continue developing and improving Story Mode, expand the tools and possibilities available in the Dubbing Editor, and make general improvements based on player feedback.

Our goal for the full version is to provide a larger, more polished experience with more content and more possibilities for creating and playing dubs.

Content and features may change during development based on the needs of the game and feedback from the community.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version will launch with 5 playable dubs and the core features needed to experience the main gameplay loop.

Players will be able to take on dubbing jobs, use the game's main mechanics, and begin making progress.

The game will continue to be developed throughout Early Access. We plan to progressively add new dubbing projects, improve Story Mode, and expand the possibilities of the Dubbing Editor.

The community will play an important role during this process, helping us identify problems, improve existing mechanics, and determine which areas need the most attention.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually increase the price of BadDubs as we add new content and features during Early Access.

Players who support the game during this stage will have access to the version available at the time and will receive future game updates at no additional cost.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want the community to be an important part of BadDubs' development.

We will listen to player feedback to improve existing mechanics, fix issues, and determine which areas of the game need the most attention.

We also want feedback on the dubbing projects, Story Mode, and Dubbing Editor, especially regarding the tools that allow players to create and share their own dubs.

As we add new content during Early Access, we will use community feedback to help improve the experience and make BadDubs more fun.

Our goal is to maintain open communication with players and show how the game evolves throughout development.”
