About This Game

The title is the whole mechanic.

You can click until your finger glows. Build a huge machine and let a stream of items fall over the seesaws into the mills, which turn them into new items. Fill the silo and claim the bonus. Or click as fast as you can. Or let the machines do the work for you.

You decide how you move forward. There is always a way to overtake the next player on the leaderboard.

And what you produce really falls. Every single piece is calculated by real physics: it tumbles over the seesaws, slides through the funnel and rolls down the heap until it comes to rest somewhere. No piece is an animation. That is why your heap looks different from mine.

Singleplayer

The goal is the infinite machine. Every world reset gives you sparks, and in the Spark Tree you buy permanent bonuses. With them you get further next time than last time. Complete orders, try out different strategies. The only limit is the time you want to invest.

You can play offline, no internet connection is needed. And if you like, the machines keep producing even while you sleep.

Teamwork: one month, one goal, everyone together

Alongside the single-player game there is a second mode. There you do not deliver against each other but together: every cart you fill counts toward a monthly goal that all players work on. At the end of the month the books are settled, the leaderboard shows your place, and then everything starts over.

You never have to be online at the same time as others. Everyone plays for themselves. But there are rewards you only get here and can only use here. This mode requires an internet connection.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Click or Wait is made by one person.

Generative AI (Claude by Anthropic) was used as a development tool in two places: writing and reviewing program code, and translating the in-game texts into Dutch, Swedish, French and Polish. Both are listed in the game's own credits.

Everything the game is comes from the developer: the idea, the design, the game systems and their balancing, the visual style, and all testing. No artwork in this game was generated by AI. The pictures in the manual are screenshots taken from the running game, and every sound and all music are not files at all but are computed from sine waves and noise while you play.

The game does not use AI while you play and does not connect to any AI service.
