About This Demo

Harrowed World: Dracula Fallen Demo should take approximately 30 minutes to play but can be played multiple times for different decisions. The demo may take more or less time for you to complete depending on your reading speed and how fast you make decisions.

In the full game you will be able to choose which character you want to play out of Vlad Dracula and Carmen Balcombe for two distinct story paths. In this demo you may only play as Vlad Dracula.

This game was created by one indie developer acting as writer and programmer. As this game is my first time creating a game like this, feedback will be used to help create the final game. As such no final release date can be announced at this time. Please provide feedback at the end of the demo.

Dracula has been resurrected in modern nights Los Angeles. Separated from his home by oceans and time itself, he must come to grips with a new world while his survival hangs in the balance.

Harrowed World: Dracula Fallen is a vampire interactive horror novel game with RPG elements. The night bends to your will. Every decision shapes what comes next in this purely text driven adventure, where there are no visuals or music, only the accursed words on the digital page and only the dark recesses of your mind to awaken the shadows.

The New Order of the Dragon has brought Dracula back from his second death with a long-forgotten ritual from the forbidden tomes of Scholomance but things are not all that they seem.

In Hollywood, yet another adaption of Bram Stoker’s novel is being made, and Dracula must come to terms with the unexpected fame that the author has bestowed upon him.

Harrowed World takes creatures of myth and folklore reimagining them as concealed predators and tricksters. This vision of the world is dystopian and bleak with both human and inhuman horrors, but most people are blissfully ignorant of the dark forces at work around them.

Vampires, magical folk, and other beings compete for power and influence through secret societies, corporate power, and religious sects.

The developers describe the content like this:

This game revolves around vampires in a horror setting and will contain many depictions or references to many amoral, sensitive, disturbing, and monstrous things, such as drinking blood, murder, manipulation, exploitation, suicide, abuse, and religion. This is not an excuse to be a monster yourself.

Due to the use of a historical protagonist in a modern setting, the game may contain references to old fashioned attitudes that may not match modern sensibilities.

This game is not suitable for those who are easily offended or upset by such content.
