AI Thriller × Logic-Driven Mystery

A linear visual novel set in a near future where AI has taken over law enforcement and the justice system.

The series is planned as four episodes. This game contains Episode 1, Murder at Suirantei. Each episode features a self-contained case while also advancing the overarching story.

Episode 1 takes approximately two hours to complete.

World

What they sought was a world without mistakes.

Humans make mistakes.
As long as we are human, there is no escaping them.
So people sought something that would never make a mistake—and opened Pandora's box.

Artificial intelligence—AI.

People entrusted AI with everything from criminal investigations and arrests to prosecution and trial.
Police androids were deployed throughout the city, and AI control steadily expanded.

District One—the First Central Governance District—boasts a 100% crime clearance rate under comprehensive AI control.
District Two—the Second Standard Administration District—is home to ordinary citizens living in peace.
And District Three—the Third Public Safety Coordination District—remains largely beyond the reach of AI control.

People believed it.
A world without mistakes was almost within reach.

But no one yet knew what remained at the bottom of the box.

Episode 1: Murder at Suirantei

The police must never learn of this case.

Riku Kawase travels to Suirantei, a traditional inn in District Three, on an assignment.
But before he can begin his investigation, a scream rings out.

There lies a gruesome corpse, its head battered repeatedly with an axe until the face is unrecognizable.
Was it the result of deep-seated hatred—or the work of someone driven by an abnormal impulse?

Every guest at the inn has something to hide.
Every one of them has a reason to keep the police away.

“The killer is among us.”

With no way to turn to the police, Kawase is forced to pursue the case alongside Shirasaki, an enigmatic travel writer.

As the investigation unfolds, the truth behind the case begins to expose the cracks in the “peace” promised by AI.

The events of this night are only the beginning.
