About This Game

A turn-based hack-and-slash where every fight is played with cards. Build a party of heroes, solo or in online co-op, and push your exploration ever further. No runs to start over here: your heroes and your loot are kept, letting you build ever more powerful characters.

BUILD AROUND SYNERGIES

• 11 heroes with distinct identities, each mastering an element — Fire, Ice, Water, Earth, Wind, Lightning, Holy or Shadow — or a weapon style: slashing, piercing or blunt.

• 1,980 skill cards, each able to evolve through choices that change the way you play.

• Passives, talents, relics and creature hearts combine with your cards to create unique synergies and builds.

• Grow your characters and find the combinations that will take you ever further.

PLAY TOGETHER, OR LEAD THE WHOLE PARTY

• In online co-op, each player can control one or more heroes.

• Solo, assemble and control your own party of up to four heroes.

PUSH YOUR EXPLORATION EVER FURTHER

• 37 biomes and 140 creatures with varied mechanics and behaviours.

• Explore, take on groups of enemies, take part in events and collect loot ranked by rarity.

• Difficulty rises with every exploration, and so do the rewards.

• But how far can you go? Every exploration counts toward the leaderboard. Push your limits, optimise your builds and set new records.

SET OUT TO SEA

• As soon as your heroes reach level 8, the ship awaits: seas of 18 islands, each born of an element, an archetype and a rarity.

• Clear them to tear out their Island Hearts, to be set on a skill: one bonus, one drawback.

THE GREAT JOURNEYS

• Beyond exploration level 100, the Great Journeys open up: expeditions dedicated to hunting creature hearts.

• Track down the hearts of a chosen element to complete your sets and unlock their bonuses. The difficulty keeps climbing against creatures empowered by affixes, while your Great Journey score lets you measure yourself against other players.

SEASONS THAT RENEW THE ADVENTURE

Roughly every 3 months, a new season resets the leaderboards and brings new ways to play: new features, heroes, mechanics or gameplay modes enrich the adventure season after season.

HARDCORE MODE

For those who play without a safety net: if the whole party falls, the game ends for good.
