About This Game

The apocalypse didn’t cancel your shift.

Working Dead is a first-person online co-op supermarket simulator for 2–4 players. You and your friends are human employees running a store that sells zombie meat to zombie customers. Prepare the merchandise, keep the shelves stocked, and ring up purchases. Just remember: these customers don’t always complain with words.

From body parts to bestsellers

Turn zombie deliveries into merchandise. Separate heads and hands, organize your stock, and get everything onto the shelves before customers come looking. Someone needs to prepare the goods, someone needs to restock, and someone really needs to get back to the checkout.

Share the work however you like. Use proximity voice chat to coordinate across the store—or explain why you just threw a hand past your coworker.

Customer complaints come with teeth

Your customers came to shop, not hunt. Try to keep it that way.

Run into a zombie or hit one with a flying product, and an ordinary shift can turn into a chase through the aisles. Watch where you’re going: upsetting another customer while escaping is a great way to make a bad situation worse.

Get bitten. Keep working.

A bite can turn you into a zombie, but it won’t get you out of your shift.

Other zombies will leave you alone, letting you move among the customers without fear of another bite. The downside? Your voice becomes incomprehensible zombie gibberish, and you can no longer complete sales at the checkout.

Keep stocking as one of the undead, or head for the antidote and return to human duties. Either way, the team will have to adapt. Someone still needs to take the money.

Build a bigger business

Reinvest your earnings in more space, equipment, and products. Improve your setup, prepare for busier shifts, and grow the store together.

More customers. More sales. More opportunities for your friends to make a terrible decision.
