About This Demo

This is the demo of My Little Ranch. If you enjoy it, wishlisting the full game is a big help to us as developers.

In the demo, you can run 2 ranches with up to 6 horses each, raise foals and watch their rarity revealed as they grow up, send your whole herd out on runs, enter Local Show races, hire a ranch helper to clean up and collect coins, unlock your first traits in the Trait Lab, and collect horses up to Epic rarity. Play on your desktop (transparent), in a window, or full screen, with no time limit.

The full game adds: up to 10 horses per ranch and more ranches, the complete Trait Lab, Country Meet and Championship races, ranch helpers that also groom and feed your horses, Legendary and Mythic horses, and Steam achievements.

Turn the bottom of your screen into a small living ranch. Transparent and click-through, it stays out of the way while you work or browse. Prefer a regular window? Play it windowed or full screen with the mountain scenery and let it run.

Coat, leg and face markings, patterns, mane, eyes and hooves: all rolled for each horse, with over 160,000 possible combinations. Rarity isn't a hidden number: it shows in how a horse looks. A Common horse is plain. A Legendary one wears the rarest traits.

• Foals you raise only show their coat. Their markings and rarity are revealed when they grow up.

• The Marketplace offers four new horses every hour, and they arrive fully grown.

• The Trait Lab unlocks new coats, eyes and manes for your future foals.

Your horses graze, move, and react in real time.

Feed them hay, apples, oats and more, keep them happy, and watch your ranch flourish.

A tidy ranch is a happy ranch. Small actions lead to steady growth.

Your horses earn coins, and happy ones earn more. Collect them, or hire someone who will.

Ranch helpers clean and collect coins. In the full game, they also groom and feed.

Send the whole group out on a run. They drift ahead and fall back like a real pack.

Runs earn Horseshoes, which you can spend on races.

Races play out on a small track, and before you enter, a prediction screen shows whether your horse is ready.

Level up and expand your ranch, give each one a unique look with decorations from the Shop, and fill the Journal with every horse and trait you've collected.

In the full game, milestones unlock Steam achievements.
