Neon City has a problem. Several, actually. The gangs rule the roads: they took your money, they took your family, and the part that really stings, they took your brakes. So you're going to get it all back - on a motorcycle without brakes.

THERE ARE NO BRAKES.

We had external auditors verify this. Every stage runs at one speed - LUDICROUS - and your only options are left, right, or straight-through. Neon Chase is a first-person arcade chase in the spirit of the home computer games and the coin-ops arcades of the 1980s: twitch reactions, dry eyes, and a road that only gets faster and faster.

DODGE. SHOOT. UPGRADE. REPEAT.

Weave through inconsiderately placed obstacles at ludicrous speeds whilst gang vehicles swarm ahead of you. Hit them hard, earn the bounties and upgrade your bike. Lasers first. Missiles later. Then the air strikes once you've earned the right to call one.

15 STAGES. 5 ROUTES. 5 GENERALS.

The road forks left, the road forks right. Swipe left and you'll always get somewhere. Swipe right and you'd better have the bike for it. Fifteen stages across five routes, each leading to a general who'd rather be supping a neon spritzer than bother with you.

SMASH. UNLOCK. REBUILD.

Blockades of wood, concrete and metal stifling your progress. Earn the bounties, build up your bike and smash them out the way. Find the parts to rebuild everything the gangs broke - repair your comms and open Supply Route, build the launcher and the gangs will wish they'd never taken your brakes. Get the tech to glide through the most challenging stages.

HIT THEM WHERE IT HURTS.

They take your brakes, you take down their convoys. Loot their supply runs, earn extra credits, bike boosts and garage decorations.

YOUR GARAGE. YOUR TROPHIES.

Every general you drop leaves a piece of themselves for you to display a a trophy. Every enemy met earns an accolade.

Neon Chase is solo developer game. Every environment, menu, lighting model, weapon, and enemy vehicles were built as 3D models using Blender. The game design, system mechanics, style, gameplay, bug fixing and features of the game are mine.

AI tools were used for some of the audio, this includes the sound effects, spoken dialogue and music which were edited and integrated by me but developed with the help of Suno for the music and Elevenlabs for the sound effects.
