Tentang Perisian Ini

You know the routine. Open the game, drag the chat to the second monitor, find the guide, switch to headphones - and undo it all afterwards.

Stillward Display is a multi-monitor window manager for Windows 10 and 11, and it works just as well on a single screen. Tell it once how you like it, and it does all of that for you, every time. That is a preset: a saved window layout with a trigger - "when this game opens, put my chat here, my guide there, and switch to my headphones." When you close the game, everything goes back to how it was.

It never guesses. A preset only moves the windows you picked for it, and leaves everything else alone.

  • Move every window to its monitor, on one screen or across all of them at once.
  • Snap to a ready-made layout, or draw your own. Halves, thirds, a big spot and two small ones - whatever suits you.
  • Launch what is not running yet. Your chat, your music, a web page: it starts them and puts each one where it belongs.
  • Switch your audio device to your headphones, and turn down the apps you do not want to hear.
  • Lock the mouse to the game, so the cursor never slips onto the second monitor mid-fight.
  • Switch your other monitors off while you play or watch a film.
  • Change resolution and refresh rate, or run a game borderless windowed. Older games keep their shape instead of being stretched.
  • Put everything back the moment you close it.

You launch your game. Your chat and guide jump to the second monitor, and your headphones switch on. When you quit, everything goes back.

  • Your games are already there. The first screen lists what you have installed. Pick one to set it up.
  • It learns your habits. Arrange your screens the same way around the same game three times, and it offers to remember it. It only ever asks.

You open a project in your editor. Your notes and your browser slide into place around it. Switch to another project, and your desk switches with it.

  • It follows what you open - a program, a project or a website.
  • One key to start. Give any preset a keyboard shortcut and get going in one press.
  • Ready for streaming. Start from a streaming preset with your browser already in place for chat and alerts.
  • Nothing of ours pops up on stream. Make a preset quiet, and our notices and sounds stay off while you are live.
  • Check before you go live. See whether notifications could pop up, where your sound is going and which windows are on each screen.

You do not need a second screen.

  • Desks. Keep a "Work" and a "Play" arrangement, and switch between them with one key. Your sound and your Windows virtual desktop switch too.
  • Split your screen with one key. Press it again, and everything goes back.
  • Focus mode. One key hides everything except the window you are using. Press it again to bring it all back.
  • See through any window. One key opens a small panel: make the window see-through, make it quieter, or send its sound to other speakers.
  • Laptop? Set it up once: unplug it, and your laptop layout appears. Plug it back in, and your full desk returns.

  • A guide or a map over your game. Press one key, and it appears in a corner, see-through, always on top. Press it again, and it tucks away, still running. For games in a window or borderless.
  • Windows stay in their zones. Turn it on in a preset, and a window knocked out of place slides back.
  • Pin any window on top with one key.
  • Fix a squeezed desk without quitting. If the game's resolution shuffled your windows, one key puts them back in order.

Your 144 Hz or 165 Hz monitor may have been running at 60 Hz since a driver update, or below the resolution it can show. Nothing tells you. Stillward Display does, and fixes it with one click. It asks before keeping the change, and if the picture goes wrong, it switches back by itself after fifteen seconds.

  • Built to stay clear of antivirus and anti-cheat trouble. It never injects code into your games or other programs - the thing that usually gets tools like this flagged.
  • Everything goes back. Your windows, your sound, your resolution - always restored, even after a crash.
  • Honest hours. Steam counts your hours only while the program's window is open. Waiting in the tray, it counts nothing.
  • Starts with Windows by default. Turn that off once, and it stays off.
  • Easy to remove. It leaves only two things outside its folder, and removes both with one button.
  • It tells you when Windows says no, instead of pretending it worked.
