About This Game

A Life Ashore is a patient third-person island survival and homesteading game about making tomorrow less frightening. After a rough landing, Eli must read the island, work with its materials, and turn emergency measures into routines he can trust.

There is no ticking escape countdown. Progress comes from understanding the place: notice useful signs, test practical methods, build, maintain, and gradually make a home worth returning to.

Survive through practical routines

Manage thirst, hunger, energy, temperature, shelter, fire, water, and food as weather and daylight change. Small preparations matter when the next rain arrives.

Learn by observing the island

Useful methods emerge from what Eli notices in the world. The journal keeps known needs and ideas close without turning undiscovered possibilities into a checklist.

Build a dependable home

Raise preset shelters and work areas through staged material deposits, arrange freeform timber structures, organize storage, and repair what you rely on. Your work persists with the world.

Explore a living tropical place

Move between coast, crash clearing, rainforest, fresh water, and high ground. Swim, forage, salvage washed-ashore supplies, and learn how wildlife and renewable plants fit into daily life.

Let a camp become a life

Choose what to build and where to settle. Over time, an emergency camp can become a comfortable place shaped by your routines rather than a prescribed base layout.
