What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We're a small indie team, and we want to make Furmageddon a bigger game over time. Early Access gives us a chance to get the core game into players' hands, hear what works and what doesn't, and use that feedback to help shape what comes next.

This is our first roguelite, so there's plenty for us to get right along the way. We'll be using Early Access to improve the gameplay, balance, co-op and progression, while adding more content and features.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Ideally we're aiming for around 10-12 months, although this may change depending on feedback and how development progresses.

During this time, we'll be improving the existing game and working on additional content and game modes.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version focuses on Arena mode, where you fight waves of enemies, collect resources, build increasingly ridiculous loadouts and try to survive, either solo or with three additional friends online.

For the full release, we plan to expand the game with additional modes, new playable characters, enemies, bosses, weapons, items, build options, progression systems and level variations.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully playable in Arena mode, both solo and in online co-op for up to 4 players.

You can fight waves of enemies, collect resources, experiment with different builds and work together to survive increasingly difficult encounters.

There's already a solid game to play, but we'll continue working on balance, stability, quality-of-life improvements and new content throughout Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We plan to increase the price as we add more content, features and game modes.

Buying during Early Access means getting the game at a lower price while helping us develop it further. We'll share more details about price changes as development progresses.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We'll be listening to feedback through Steam discussions, Discord and other channels.

We want to hear what you enjoy, what isn't working and what you'd like to see added. We'll use that feedback to help decide what to focus on next, whether that's balancing the game, fixing issues or adding new features.

We can't promise to implement every suggestion, but we'll be paying close attention. After all, we want to make Furmageddon a game players want to keep coming back to.”
