Welcome to the Dawn of the Atomic Age:

Area 7, Nevada, U.S.A, 1957. Amongst neon-lit motels, fallout zones, dusty highways, and small-town diners lies a world of secret government projects, unexplained phenomena, strange disappearances, and things that 'officially' don't exist.

A Noir Detective Adventure:

You play as Dr. M. Archer, a former member of the secretive U.S. Intelligence Corps.

Archer has been assigned to lead a new, classified government project: OBSIDIAN Department.

Your task is simple... Investigate the impossible.

OBSIDIAN 7 is a modernised take on the classic point-and-click adventure, combining traditional investigation and puzzle solving with open exploration & individual detective case-work. It keeps the heart of the genre while expanding it with new ideas and systems designed to make the adventure feel bigger, stranger and more immersive.

• Explore Area 7: Investigate and uncover desert locations at your own pace.

• Investigate Your Way: Follow leads to investigate strange disappearances & paranormal cases.

• Solve & Deduce: Use clues, objects, and evidence to solve puzzles and crack cases.

• Meet the Inhabitants: Question eccentric locals and gather clues to reveal events the OBSIDIAN Department would rather keep buried.

• Partner with Atlas: Archer's loyal German Shepherd companion. Atlas helps retrieve items that are out of reach and can use K-9 senses to detect things that humans cannot.

The further Archer digs, a deeper story begins to emerge.
