Through fog, darkness, and violent weather, ships depend on your light to reach safety.

Listen for distant horns and radio calls. Search the horizon. Identify what is approaching.

And remember:

FIND THEM IN THE DARK

Use your optics to search the surrounding waters and locate vessels through the fog.

Navigation lights, silhouettes, movement, horns and radio traffic are all clues. Pay attention to what you see — and to what doesn't make sense.

GUIDE THEM TO SAFETY

Finding a ship is only the beginning.

Take control of the lighthouse beam, illuminate the vessel and guide it toward a safe route through the dangerous waters surrounding the island.

The light is your most important tool — but keeping it running comes at a cost. Electrical faults, damaged equipment and an overloaded beam can leave you blind when you need it most.

SOMETHING ELSE IS WATCHING

As the night progresses, familiar signals become harder to trust.

A contact may appear where nothing should be. A silhouette may not match what you expected. Something caught in the beam may behave in ways no vessel ever could.

Investigate carefully.
