About This Game

Roll Dice, Unlock Relics, Score higher

Terminal Dice is a turn-based roguelike where your build is a bag of dice, and every face can be modified.

You roll dice, clear encounters, buy relics, modify your faces, and try to build something strong enough to survive all three sectors.

Roll your hand

Each turn starts with a fresh roll.

You have a limited amount of OPS that can be spent to FLIP or SHIFT individual dice towards the values you need. Bigger dice can score more, but they are also harder to control.

You usually cannot fix the whole roll. Sometimes it is better to spend heavily on one die and leave another alone.

Build the buffer

Dice are placed into an ordered compile buffer before you score.

Dice that form your chosen combination receive the main multiplier. The rest still add their value as raw payload.

Order matters. Faces such as Copy, Boost, Edge and Retrigger behave differently depending on where they are placed, so the same hand can score very differently depending on how you arrange it.

The game shows a live score forecast before you commit.

Forge your dice

After encounters, you can permanently modify individual faces.

Replace weak values, add +2 to an existing face, duplicate useful faces, or add effects such as Wild, Gold, Copy and Boost.

A normal d6 might eventually look like:

[1, 1, 4, 6, GOLD, WILD]

Instead of simply finding better dice, you gradually change the odds of the dice you already own.

Boss protocols

A run is split across three sectors, each ending in a boss.

Bosses alter the normal rules. They might reverse your buffer, punish duplicate values, hide parts of your roll, interfere with relics, or make certain strategies much harder to use.

Their rules are shown before you compile, giving you a chance to adjust rather than relying on hidden mechanics.

Finishing the campaign unlocks Endless Mode, where boss protocols begin stacking as the run continues.

Daily Challenge uses a fixed seed, giving everyone the same starting setup and encounter sequence.
