About This Game

Inspired by fighting games and 16-bit classics, Super Cucumber is a fast-paced 2D action-platformer built around fluid movement and combo-based abilities. Every hero's journey starts with a single step (and possible a few hundred failed jumps).

The world's greatest aardvark superhero is here to save the day! Armed with incredible movement abilities and an unstoppable sense of determination, Cucumber must dash, leap, and battle his way through dangerous towers filled with dastardly villains and a few secrets to find along the way...

The More You Move, The More You Glow

Aura is what powers Cucumber's incredible abilities. Build Aura Charges by dashing, exploring, and throwing a few punches, then spend them on special moves that help you reach new places, discover secrets, and overcome obstacles in unexpected ways. The more you move, the more powerful you become.

Cucumber's journey is filled with strange characters and even stranger villains. Battle a cast of eccentric bosses, each with their own ridiculous plans, unexpected abilities, and unique challenges that stand between you and saving the day.

Responsive controls and carefully hand-crafted levels reward curiosity, practice, and creativity as you learn to chain your abilities together and overcome each new challenge. We want to channel the fun of nailing a series of well-timed button presses through precision platforming with a relatively low skill floor and incredibly high skill ceiling. This speedrun friendly adventure is filled with devious jumping puzzles, generous checkpoints, and impossibly possible challenges.
