About This Game

Click a grave. Collect some bones. Hire your first skeleton and put it to work. Bone Idle is a single-player incremental game about turning a little graveyard into a growing undead workforce, one questionable investment at a time.



Reinvest your bones in recruits and upgrades, or buy everything you can afford in one click. Every recruit joins the crowd: skeletons dig their own patch, haul the bones to the depot and feed the machines. Each island runs its own machinery, and it grows in three stages as your workforce does: a winch drags coffins out of the earth and tips their bones down a chute, crucibles pour, hammers strike and chimneys smoke. Banners and bone heaps spread across each island you conquer. Get closer with the free camera and watch them earn their keep.



Cross 18 islands over three acts, each with its own crew, machinery and guardian. When a guardian blocks the way, the island becomes an arena: cut, parry and break seals through each phase, call on battle powers, and strike hard once it falls to its knees while your army charges. Earn a bronze, silver or gold medal for each guardian. Every medal rank adds permanent production, and guardians return after each Great Ritual so you can beat your record.

Make the next run stronger

Perform the Great Ritual when you're ready to start over. Your bones, workers and islands reset, but you earn runes to grow a ritual tree of 31 nodes. The Horde branch boosts production and automatic buying, the Ossuary branch rewards guardians, golden graves, crystals and trophies, and the Rite branch empowers your shovel, powers, offerings and missions. Its trunk never ends.



Click graves for extra bones, take on optional missions and catch golden graves while your workers handle the steady income. Step away and return to offline earnings, with up to eight hours counted at a reduced production rate. There's always another recruit to save for.
