About This Game

Traffic Check is a procedurally generated arcade racer inspired by the golden age of the genre, and by one crash-happy series in particular. Every car on the road is a weapon, every map is a new place to wreck, and braking is rarely the right answer.

TURN TRAFFIC INTO SCORE

Slam into traffic at full speed and send it flying into everything else on the road. One good hit can set off a chain of checks, and the bigger the chain, the bigger your score. Drift through corners and dodge oncoming lanes to earn stars and fill your boost, then spend it all on the next hit. Keep scoring and the clock keeps running so you can snag the trophies.

CRASHING IS GOOD?

A crash doesn't end the fun. Steer your wreck through the air, smash it into passing cars for Grave Checks, and keep the chain going until you finally stop moving. Doors swing loose, bonnets fold, bumpers drag sparks along the road and windows crack and shatter.

A NEW WORLD EVERY MAP

No two maps are the same. Race from snowy mountains and deep forests to deserts, lakes, jungles, tropical islands and sprawling cities. Highways climb past cliffs and split at forks, then run through towns full of shops, motels, parks and gas stations. Leave the highway for dirt and gravel roads past farms and ranger stations, ford a river, or launch off a ramp. Ever-changing weather and a full day and night cycle change how every run looks, and how it drives.

Choose from 27 made-up cars, from 80s wedges and race-kitted coupes to rally cars, wagons and trucks, each with its own handling, paint options and a customizable license plate.
