About This Game

Start Another Life, One Bowl at a Time

After losing your job and nearly every penny to your name, you find yourself in a floating slum. Scrounging together makeshift equipment and a handful of ingredients, you open a tiny ramen shop in a back alley.

Ramen Shop in a Floating Slum is a first-person ramen shop management and life sim where you develop your own ramen, grow your business, and experience another life in a city on the water.

Create Your Own Ramen

Combine pork bones, chicken bones, seafood, aromatic vegetables, and other ingredients, then take the time to simmer them into a flavorful broth.

Choose your noodles and their firmness, tare seasoning, flavored oil, and toppings to develop ramen that is truly your own.

Give each finished bowl a name and set its price. Learn your customers’ preferences, keep up with changing trends, and serve even better ramen.

Earn Money and Grow Your Shop

You begin with a tiny street stall tucked away in an alley. Save the money you earn from selling ramen, then buy ingredients, equipment, and decorations to build a shop that feels like your own.

As you progress, you will be able to move into new locations around the city. Expand into a larger shop or stay somewhere you have grown attached to—the choice is yours.

Explore the Floating Slum

Step away from the counter and freely explore a maze-like city of waterways and densely packed buildings.

Visit food suppliers, equipment stores, fishing shops, fishing spots, and waste disposal sites. Buy supplies, go fishing, scavenge discarded items, and search the city for your next shop location.

You may also discover unexpected items and scenic spots that become your favorite places in the city.

Ramshackle, yet inviting enough to explore on a day off—enjoy the lived-in atmosphere of a Japanese-inspired neighborhood combined with the unfamiliar beauty of a city built on water.

Connect with the City Through Ramen

As you run your ramen shop, you will meet people who call the city home, including an inspector from the Entertainment Audit Bureau and a fishing engineer.

Serve them ramen and deepen your relationships to uncover their individual stories. As you grow closer, they may give you useful items—and eventually even lend a hand at your shop.

Build a Shop and a Life of Your Own

Pursue the perfect bowl. Create the ramen you love. Build an efficient kitchen. Open your shop in your favorite location and wander the city between shifts.

Step away from reality for a little while and begin another life running a ramen shop in this floating city.
