About This Demo

Your dog buried your homework somewhere underground

Swing a pickaxe at the ground under your house and see what is in it. Fill your bag, haul it up, sell it, buy something better, and go back down further than last time. Ore that was hard at 200 meters breaks on contact by 2,000. The number on your gold counter goes up and does not stop going up.

What is in the demo

• The first 5,000 meters, and every ore layered under them

• The full mining loop: dig, haul, sell, upgrade, go deeper

• Prestige, and the permanent talents you keep through every reset after it

• Enough of the talent tree to pick a direction and commit to it

Build it however you want

There is no correct route down. Put everything into the pickaxe and break rock by hand. Or ignore the pickaxe, wear the laser helmet, and let the beam eat whatever you have marked. Stack crit chance until every swing sets off a shockwave through the vein. Specialising feels completely different depending on what you pick, and you will not buy the whole tree in one run.

At 5,000 meters

The ground changes and your pickaxe stops working. That is where the demo ends.

There is a way through. The full game is what happens after it: 40+ talents, 27+ artifacts that change how you mine, sealed Ancient Caves, Cathedrals in the deep rock, keys that open portals to other dimensions. There is a bottom to this, and a reason you started digging. People have been past 100,000 meters.

Good to know

• Every meter is one you dug yourself. No offline progress.

• Nine languages: English, Deutsch, 简体中文, Русский, Español, Português (BR), 日本語, Français, Polski.

• The dog thing is real and it does matter eventually.
