About This Game

Synopsis

You see a child lying on the floor. …Feeling the cold of the floor, the child looks around: an old hall that looks like it could grow mold. And all around, adults who seem somehow… familiar, lying face-down like corpses.

The child remembers only one thing: a name. Who is… [Me]? And why here, in this desolate place, and not at home?

To the child, whose memory is a blur, a crackling speaker gives orders. Should the orders be carried out? Are you a good child?

Pick up a weapon, touch the wallpaper, scribble on things. See what cannot be seen, and recall memories you never had.

All of it was done by you. - Or was it?

Before You Buy

  • This isn't horror that relies on scaring you - There are no chases and no time limits. It's a game about slowly looking around, reading, and choosing your way through a dark, strange story. Less fright, more the chill that lingers after you've read it.

  • One playthrough won't finish the story - A single run to the end takes about 30 minutes, but your first ending is only the beginning. Start over, choose differently, and the more endings you collect, the more you'll come to know what happened here. To see the whole story, you'll need to play more than once.

  • Generative AI was used - The artwork, some of the background music, and two short cinematics were made with generative AI, then selected, edited, and composited by the developers. Some scenes show that distinctive AI-art look. If that matters to you, please check the screenshots and the AI content disclosure below before buying. All of the writing, including dialogue, narration, choices, and ending text, was done by the developers themselves.

What Makes This Game Special

  • 38 endings, 63 achievements - 33 of them are bad endings. We love collectibles, so we built plenty of side paths for collecting endings. Some are anticlimactic, some absurd, some a little chilling… explore everywhere and see for yourself. Collecting nearly every ending takes about 3 hours. And there's something that opens only for those who collect them all.

  • See everything you've built up, any time - Every ending you reach stays in the gallery. A table of contents lets you jump straight to it, and the slots for endings you haven't seen yet are always visible too.

  • Look around, then choose - Point-and-click. Click to examine. Anything you can examine or choose glows at the edges, so it's easy to see what to look at next. Of course, some things might not.

  • A story you read in sound and text - A sound novel: a visual novel where words and sound paint each scene, and your imagination completes it.

  • Art style - A paper-cutout storybook style blended with soft cel-shaded watercolor to add detail to the world. Where you click, explore, and want to touch, the cutout storybook style comes forward; where you're meant to watch, pass through, and sink in, the soft cel-shaded watercolor takes over for deeper immersion.

  • Easy on the hands - Mouse, keyboard, and controller supported, with custom key binding. Two text speeds (normal, 2x), plus auto-advance, adjustable text size, and a log of past dialogue. There's a screen-flash off option, sound effect captions, an adjustable dialogue box background opacity, and separate master, music, and sound effect volume sliders, too. Autosave is supported. For manual saves, use the slots.

  • An original story - Based on an original story that grew out of the creator's own dream, most of the text was written and revised by hand. Enjoy a story of about 38,000 Korean characters. And look forward to what comes next! We'd love to tell you more stories.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Pre-Generated AI Content
This game uses generative AI tools for part of its visual, musical, and cinematic assets. All generated material was selected, edited, and composited by the developers before shipping.

- Illustrations and in-game art: generated with Google Gemini (Nano Banana), OpenAI ChatGPT Image, and Qwen-Image-3.0-Pro, then hand-edited and composited in Adobe Photoshop. No purchased or outsourced artwork is used.
- Background music: 6 tracks generated with Suno under a paid subscription. Lyrics and generation prompts were written with an AI assistant; the developers selected the final takes by ear. Two of them include vocals. For those two, Suno split the track into stems; the developers then re-mixed the remaining stems without the vocal in Audacity, so instrumental versions ship as well. 8 music files in total.
- Two short cinematics (10s and 16s): generated with Wan2.7-I2V via Alibaba Cloud Model Studio under a paid plan, then encoded to Ogg Theora.

Not AI-generated: the game's writing - dialogue, narration, choices, and ending text - was written and revised by the developers. Sound effects, the five licensed background tracks, and all fonts are licensed assets, credited in the in-game Licenses page.

Live-Generated AI Content
None. The game generates no content at runtime and makes no network requests.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

This is a psychological horror sound novel set in the aftermath of a war.

The protagonist is a child. Under pressure from the adults around them, the child
is drawn into taking part in violence. Executions, a death by burning, and physical
assault are depicted. Most of it is conveyed through text; on-screen depiction is
kept restrained, going no further than blood.

Several endings can be read as the child's death. One line of dialogue implies
cannibalism. In one ending the child drinks from a bottle taken from an adult, with
fatal results; the substance is never named.

There is no sexual content.
