About This Game

Rift Ward is a single-player, story-driven, top-down space shooter about a small ship caught in a much larger war. Pilot the Sparrow with your drone companion Patch, fight through hostile sectors, and uncover the secrets of the Ancients.

Venture beyond Haven Station into contested asteroid fields, Drifter settlements and ancient ruins. Follow distress calls, help stranded crews, and explore broken stations where the only voices left are recordings. Discover the world and its inhabitants through the main story, side missions and dungeons.

Fight raiders, alien swarms and bosses with an expanding arsenal of lasers, plasma, rockets and mines. Equip skills to cloak your ship, disrupt enemies or call in support as you take on tougher encounters.

Mine asteroids for ore and collect parts from defeated enemies. Bring your haul back to Haven to upgrade the Sparrow’s weapons, shields, engines and cargo. Earn new ship designs along the way and prepare for the challenges ahead.

Choose one of six arenas and face bosses from the campaign in a separate boss rush mode. Draft cards to shape your build and grab pickups to stay in the fight. Try different upgrades, improve your boss times, and see if you can make it through the entire run.
