What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We plan to release TOMIDER chapter by chapter. Early Access lets players get to know the game now, and it helps us fund further development. Most importantly, we want to hear from you: your feedback, bug reports and ideas will help shape the story and every new chapter.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to stay in Early Access until the story reaches its logical ending.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add new chapters over time. Each new chapter is planned to bring new characters, new tasks, new achievements and the next part of the story.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes the complete Chapter 1, playable from start to finish: three in-game days, several locations (home, school, library and dreams), achievements, Steam Cloud saves, keyboard, mouse and gamepad support, and full translations into 8 languages. We are already working on Chapter 2.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as new chapters are added. Everyone who buys the game during Early Access and supports us will receive all future chapters at no extra cost.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We're always happy to hear from players. We plan to run polls and discussions on our Discord server and in the TOMIDER Steam Community, where we'll also share news and development updates. Your bug reports and ideas will directly influence what comes next.”

About This Game

What happened in the fourth classroom?

Ten years ago, a tragedy struck the school in the small town of Oford — one people still speak of only in whispers. The case was closed. The killer was never found. Now Tomi, a teenager, decides to uncover the truth himself — even if it's buried deeper than anyone is willing to admit.

Story

Tomi lives an ordinary life: school, home, the streets of a sleepy 1990s town. But start asking questions, and something dark begins to bleed through the everyday. An old newspaper. A cassette from the crime scene in his mother's room. Disappearances no one wants to explain. Piece by piece you'll gather the truth — while the darkness gathers you.

Features

  • Free exploration — roam the house, the streets and the school as a 2D side-scroller, hunting for clues and items.
  • Investigation — read newspapers, notes and documents; collect evidence in your diary.
  • Atmospheric horror — hand-drawn art, oppressive silence, and sounds that crawl down your spine.
  • A 1990s setting — cassette tapes, old print, the mood of the era.
  • A story-rich experience — dialogue, characters and mysteries that won't let go.
The truth is close. The only question is whether you're ready to hear it.
