Why Early Access?

“The core gameplay of Seven Doors is currently playable, but we are launching in Early Access to further improve the game based on player feedback before the full release.

During Early Access, we plan to continue improving gameplay, horror presentation, difficulty, optimization, and the overall player experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Early Access to last approximately 6 to 12 months. However, this may change depending on development progress and player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full version, we plan to add new areas and content while improving existing content based on feedback received during Early Access.

We also plan to further refine horror sequences, enemy encounters, environmental details, audio, game balance, and optimization to provide a more polished overall experience.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version currently includes four playable areas.

Players can explore dark and unsettling environments, discover clues and items, and progress while avoiding hostile creatures that roam throughout the game.

The core systems and main gameplay are implemented and playable, while some content and features will continue to be improved throughout Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to offer the game at a lower price during Early Access. The price may increase as new content and features are added and the game approaches its full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to actively involve the community throughout the Early Access period.

We will collect player feedback through the Steam Community Hub, including discussions, reviews, and bug reports. We will use this feedback to identify technical issues, improve game balance and difficulty, and refine gameplay elements such as enemy behavior, level design, controls, and overall atmosphere.

Player feedback will also help us determine which areas of the game need the most improvement as we develop additional content toward the full release.

We plan to regularly share development updates and patch notes through Steam, and communicate with players about major changes and improvements made based on community feedback.”
