“We plan to keep the game in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months. However, this timeline may shift depending on player feedback, necessary feature additions, and the overall scope of community requests during development.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to include additional gameplay mechanics, more motel management features, new story events, expanded dialogue choices, and more variety in rogue guests and fugitive encounters. We also plan to improve overall visual polish, audio design, and bug fixes based on community feedback.”

“The current Early Access version features a fully playable core gameplay loop. Players can manage the daily operations of the motel, handle reception and cleaning, use the in-game computer system, and encounter fugitive events with functional combat and choice mechanics.”

WELCOME TO THE NIGHT SHIFT

You are desperate. Your mother is severely ill, and her life-saving medicine is expensive. To make ends meet, you’ve taken a dead-end night shift job managing a remote motel. You don't want to be here, but every dollar you earn brings your mother one step closer to survival. All you have to do is keep the guests happy and pass the days. Simple, right?

RUN THE MOTEL, MANAGE THE CHAOS

To earn your paycheck, you need to keep the motel running smoothly. You are completely in charge of the daily operations:

  • Customer Service: Work the reception, check guests in, and fulfill their room service requests.

  • Maintenance: Clean the rooms and maintain the property to keep the business afloat.

  • Resource Management: Carefully manage your limited supplies and budget. Every mistake costs you money you can't afford to lose.

A DEADLY DILEMMA

The quiet nights don't last. Through the motel's old computer, you receive a chilling news broadcast: Dangerous convicts have escaped from the local prison. Evacuate immediately. But you can't leave. You need the money.

Soon, the fugitives arrive at your doorstep, seeking shelter. The choice is yours, and every action has severe consequences:

  • Shelter Them: Take their dirty money and let them stay. But beware—if the daily police patrols find them, you will be arrested for aiding a fugitive.

  • Reject Them: Refuse them entry, but risk angering desperate and dangerous criminals.

  • Pull the Trigger: Take matters into your own hands. Use your firearm to eliminate the threat right in the lobby.

Will you survive the night shift, make enough money, and save your mother? Or will the midnight motel be your final resting place?
