How to Play VRetro.

The most important objective on each floor is to find the key, pick it up, and bring it to the chest. Place the key into the lock, and the chest will open. By touching to the treasure, you will build the next floor of the tower.

Handle the key carefully - if it falls off the floor, you’ll have to go back and retrieve it. The ladder rungs can be grabbed using the controller grips, allowing you to climb up. You can also jump down to lower floors.

At the start of the game, you have three lives. Colliding with an enemy will cost you one life, while catching a heart will restore one. You can catch a heart by placing a cube underneath it. The hammer destroy threatening objects, including entire cannons or birdhouses from which hostile birds fly out. The shield provides temporary protection, and also the pistol can be used defensively.

Floor gaps can be overcome in various ways. Smaller gaps can be jumped over or crossed using a plank. For larger chasms, you’ll need to use items. You can also walk along the edge like a balance beam, but it is very dangerous. Planks and large blocks can be moved between floors to where they are need.

At the beginning you can choose the height of the tower. The maximum height is one hundred floors. Maybe ten is enough for the first game.

The graphics are as simple as possible to match the retro style, so that game can be played standalone without a computer on a suitable headset and to make moving around enjoyable without feeling motion sickness.
