Story

Naoko Makita finds herself treated as an “impostor” and a “completely different person” not only by her best friend, but by every student and teacher around her.

During the previous day—a day she has no memory of—the evil spirit known as Shikinuri, which overwrites people’s recognition of its host, had entered her body.

Unable to use electronic devices, pursued by the police, and no longer able to remain in her own home, Naoko loses her identity, her home, and every connection she once had.

Even so, she continues her investigation, eventually uncovering evidence of a “mastermind” who deliberately caused Shikinuri to enter her body.

Can Naoko expose the mastermind’s true identity and reclaim her own existence?

—In a world where her very existence has been overwritten, reclaim “myself.”
