Four-player co-op dungeon crawling with an extraction problem: what you find is only yours once you climb back out. Descend through realms of stone, ice, salt and bone, learn each guardian’s tells, and decide on every floor whether to push on or bank the run.

About This Game

Go deeper than you should.

Warden’s Descent is a four-player co-op dungeon crawler built around the oldest argument in the genre: one more floor, or get out while you still can. Everything you pull out of the dark is only yours once you climb back out with it. Die down there and it stays down there.

Four players, one bad idea

Play solo or with up to three friends online. Downed players stay revivable while the timer runs, so a wipe is usually a chain of small decisions rather than one big mistake. Open a room with a code, or point the whole party at a dedicated server.

Four realms, not four palette swaps

The descent runs through hand-authored places, each with its own tileset, bestiary, armoury and rules:
  • The Deepworks — worked stone, catacombs, flooded halls and forge-light. Where everyone starts.
  • The Icy Depths — rime and rotten ice, a long night, and whatever is under the bottom ice.
  • The Salt — a dried pan, a field of fused glass, a bitter well, and a cathedral of halite grown enormous.
  • The Marrow — cancellous bone, red marrow, and the endosteum. The deepest floors in the game.

Guardians that teach you something

Every gauntlet ends with a guardian fought in phases, and every phase telegraphs before it lands. The first attempt is a reading exercise and the fifth is muscle memory. Nothing down here is a damage check you could not see coming.

Gear that belongs to where it dropped

Weapons, armour and trinkets roll from the floor you found them on, up through Legendary, with mythic uniques that change how a build plays rather than just adding a number to it. Each realm carries its own armoury, so going deeper means learning new verbs instead of scaling the old ones.

Bank it, or lose it

Extract and the run is banked — loot to your stash, progress to your profile, new gauntlets open on the map. Push one floor too far and the dark takes all of it.
