About This Game

Adventure Reznara is a pixel-art, text-led RPG roguelike. Create an adventurer, set out from the riverbound crossroads of Rivergate, and travel six regions by road and sea. Every encounter begins with a scene and a handful of cards: fight, flee, or steal the soul of what you meet.

Choose Normal mode for a forgiving adventure or Permadeath for a harsher road.

Choose your calling

Play as a Mage, Ranger, Warrior or Duelist, with more classes to unlock. Each has its own combat style and class ability.

Fight turn-based battles inspired by GBA Fire Emblem

Battles play out as cinematic turn-based encounters. Attack, use your class ability, flee, or use Soulsteal to take the soul of your enemy. Critical hits, armour, evasion and lifesteal shape every fight, and every enemy brings its own threats.

Make meaningful choices

Rare encounters put the choice in your hands: shrines, artefacts, companions, knights, cosmic phenomena and stranger forces. The road ahead is yours to read... and yours to survive.

Explore six regions of Reznara

Six connected regions on land, plus other locations to discover at sea. Each has its own people, sites, threats, rewards, atmosphere and secrets.

Travel through forests, shrines, workshops, quays, tunnels, fortresses and old roads. Meet travellers and merchants, investigate strange relics, and face everything from wild creatures to Skinwalkers, rifts and eclipses.

Build your adventurer

Grow through levels, equipment, abilities, captured souls and discoveries.

Pursue regional quests and repeatable work

Follow authored regional questlines, or take on repeatable radiant quests.

Live on the road

Reznara is not a world you simply clear and leave behind. Roads take time, weather changes, and camps offer respite. Discoveries, quests, equipment, achievements and consequences persist as your journey grows.

Travel carefully: journeys span multiple days, road encounters can interrupt your plans, and camping can be the difference between arriving prepared or arriving wounded.

Adventure Reznara is set in the same universe as Ascending Realms.
