About This Demo

One small mining ship. A living galaxy. Your desktop.

Space Travelers is a relaxed 2D space mining and exploration sim. Start with a modest ship in a quiet corner of the galaxy, dig rare minerals out of asteroids and planets, trade at the station, and push your range outward sector by sector.

You do not have to stop playing to get on with your day. Pin Space Travelers to your desktop as a live wallpaper: the simulation keeps flying behind your icons, mining, traveling and discovering while you work, and only asks for you when a real decision needs to be made.

About this demo: the demo covers the first act of the game, Sector 1 and Sector 2. There is no time limit, the live wallpaper mode is fully available, and your save carries over to the full game. Cosmetic ship drops and the Steam inventory are disabled in the demo. Sector 3 and beyond, the uranium belt, ancient technologies and the endless frontier unlock in the full game.

What you will do

• Mine and trade. Crack planet crusts with better drills, watch prices react to what you sell, deliver contracts, and when it suits you, deal on the black market.

• Build your network. Fuel tank outposts, refineries over gas giants and mining drones turn empty space into your own supply line.

• Survive the road. Meteor swarms, pirate signals, strange encounters: every trip can turn into a story, and the rescue service is never free.

A game that lives on your desktop

• Live wallpaper mode on Windows: the game plays on behind your desktop icons, on the monitor you choose.

• Critical events appear as a small decision panel; everything else patiently waits for you.

• Pin a compact route widget to your desktop and plan your hauls without opening the full window.

The game's text content (interface text, event and log lines) and its
localization into the 14 supported interface languages were produced with
the assistance of large language models, directed and reviewed by the
developer. Parts of this store page were drafted the same way.

No AI-generated images, audio or video are used: all artwork, animation
and sound in the game are produced by hand-written procedural code. The
game does not generate any content with AI while you play, and it never
connects to an external AI service.
