“I'm putting this game in Early Access because I want it to be built for the community, by the community. FPS Sandbox gamers have been left behind in modern gaming. We just want to have fun, and I want to build this game with a community-first mindset. The chaos is fun now, and I want the community to help me make it even better!”

“My current plan is for this game to be in Early Access for about one year. As a solo dev working on Quadrex in my spare time, I can't push this development forward nearly as fast as I would like, and I can't truly guarantee a hard-set release date. What I can say is that my love for this game and its community drives me every day to keep building, keep improving, and keep polishing an experience that I think everyone can enjoy.”

“My dream for the full release of Quadrex goes far beyond a simple shooter game. I want this game to be shaped into something the community can be proud of. Some of the features I plan to add in the future are:

-Easier Connectivity: Split-screen Multiplayer up to 4 players, including choosing team sides. Co-op modes as well as an online mode that uses invite-only codes so you can play with friends anywhere!

-More Content: I want gamers to have a fully array of tools to enjoy in this game. More weapons, explosives, land and air vehicles, and more maps just to name a few.

-Deeper Customization: Things like customizable team and weapon skins, deeply customizable match settings, levels of difficulty, and even a map editor.

-Better Optimization: As well as Quadrex already runs, I want this game to be known as the ultimate game for massive battles in a first-person shooter. I want people to be able to run thousands (not hundreds!) of bots on something as simple as a regular laptop.

While I cannot fully promise that all of these features will happen, I can tell you that they are features I am so excited to add on before full release. It brings me joy to build this game, and I can't wait to see what it will become.”

“It is a simple but exciting core game loop. Pick your bot count, your time limit, your team colors, and gun down as many bots as you can before time runs out!”

“The price will be set as is until Quadrex is out of Early Access. However, the price will go up slightly (and reasonably!) to account for the amount of added quality/features.”

“The Quadrex community is the most integral part of the game. I could never finish this game without them and their feedback. Quadrex has been centered around community since Day 1, it will always be centered around community no matter what, and their comments and feedback are the only thing that can truly turn Quadrex into something special.”
