About This Game

Drums & Steel is a formation-based real-time strategy game where you command massed 18th-century armies in standalone skirmishes and campaigns. Master your forces, exploit the terrain, and understand the limits of both your troops and the enemy. Break their will to fight before they break yours.

Command Your Army

Design your forces, they will dictate how your battle are fought. Accuracy, cohesion, discipline, morale, and other vital statistics form the core of each formation and whether they will succeed or fail. But it is their commander that gives the order and controls the sounds of the drums and flow of battle. 

Use terrain to your advantage! Hide behind woods that block line of sight and bullets, take cover from enemy artillery behind hills, and make your final stand in front of the steam or mud pit to slow down the advancing attackers. It may well tip the scales in your favor.
