About This Game

Cook. Deploy. Survive.

Cook to Zero is a real-time strategy and tower defense game where cooking is how you send soldiers into battle.

Your mercenaries are hungry, the monsters are advancing, and unfortunately, you are the one in charge of both dinner and national defense.

Prepare ingredients, cook the right meals, and deploy mercenaries to hold the line. Spend too much time watching the battlefield and your food may burn. Focus too much on the kitchen and you may discover that the monsters have already reached the castle.

Cook Your Army

Every mercenary has their own appetite.

Combine ingredients and prepare the meals they want to send Warriors, Archers, Spearmen, and Mages onto the battlefield.

You are not simply producing units from a menu. Every reinforcement starts in the kitchen.

Cut ingredients, cook meals, manage your equipment, and decide which type of mercenary the battlefield needs next.

Watch the Kitchen. Watch the Battlefield.

The battle continues while you cook.

Monsters advance in real time, mercenaries fight automatically, and the frontline can change while you are busy preparing the next meal.

Do you finish the food already on the pan?

Send reinforcements to a collapsing frontline?

Save your resources for something stronger?

Sometimes the most dangerous enemy is not a monster.

Sometimes it is the frying pan you forgot about.

Build Your Own Strategy

Between battles, improve your forces and choose how you want to fight.

Unlock upgrades, strengthen your mercenaries, and choose battlefield traits that can change the way each stage plays.

A small advantage in the kitchen can become a huge advantage on the battlefield — and the right combination of upgrades can turn a desperate defense into a very unfair fight.

A Very Serious Kingdom With Very Serious Problems

Skeletons run without muscles.

Mages would like to investigate why.

Warriors consider dinner part of military logistics.

And the king somehow decided that putting a cook in charge of all of this was a reasonable strategy.

Cook to Zero mixes fantasy warfare with lighthearted characters and absurd conversations as the kingdom attempts to survive one meal at a time.

Features

  • Pixel-art fantasy battles — Watch armies of mercenaries and monsters collide across the battlefield.
