A detective RPG with no combat in it. Question a river town that would rather you left, gather what people let slip, and name the guilty party yourself — the game never tells you the answer. 28 cases, and every one can be solved from what you were actually shown.

About This Game

The ledger is honest. Everyone reading it is not.

You are a detective of some small reputation, called downriver to Dreskmark because a mill burned and nobody will say why. What you find is a town that runs on debts nobody writes down, favours nobody admits to, and a trade everyone calls the Hush.

There is no combat. Not as a restriction — as the design. Every door in this game opens with a question, a noticed detail, or a name you were not supposed to know yet.

You do the deducing

The game will not solve a case for you and will not quietly withhold the answer either. Every case is fair-play: the evidence that convicts is evidence you can find, and no accusation is possible that the town did not give you grounds for. When you name someone, you are staking your own reading of what you saw — and the game lets you be wrong.

  • 28 hand-authored cases — arson, substitution, forged warrants, a name chalked on a door, a debt settled the quiet way.
  • Talk-gated discovery — you cannot ask about a crime nobody has mentioned to you. Rumour travels before you do.
  • A casebook that is yours — facts, leads and contradictions collect as you earn them, not as the plot needs them.
  • Choices with a verdict attached — proving what happened and deciding what to do about it are two separate acts, and the second one is harder.

A river town with its own opinions

Seven districts, from the mill yard to the bond house to the docks after dark, drawn as one continuous place rather than a menu of levels. Fully voiced townsfolk who repeat themselves the way real people do — differently the second time. Eight detectives to play, each of whom notices different things.

Built to be honest

No randomness anywhere in the simulation. The same question asked twice gets the same answer, every clue sits where it was placed, and no case can become unsolvable through bad luck. If you missed something, you missed it — and it is still there.

Set in the world of Orenvalt.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Some art, the 3D models, the music beds, the sound effects and all character voice lines were produced with generative AI tools during development, then hand-reviewed, edited and shipped as fixed assets. Nothing is generated while you play: the game ships every asset on disc, runs no model, and makes no network call.
