What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Regret & Rewind is a job simulator / photo kiosk simulator, and Early Access gives us the opportunity to develop the game together with players. We want to use player feedback to refine the gameplay, expand the stories, improve the kiosk experience, and discover which parts of the game are most enjoyable and fun.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Early Access to last approximately 12 months. The early access time is subject to change The exact timeline may change depending on development progress, player feedback, and the scope of additional content.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand the game with:
More customers and personal stories
New minigame opportunities and situations
Additional locations and environments
More kiosk upgrades and customization
More home upgrades and customization
New gameplay mechanics and interactions
More narrative content and memorable moments with NPCs
Improvements based on player feedback
Additional polish, audio, visuals, and quality-of-life features
The exact scope may evolve during Early Access as we learn more from our players.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version contains the core gameplay loop of running a photo kiosk, interacting with customers, taking and developing photographs, and discovering the area. Decorating home.
The game is fully playable, but it is still under active development. Some content, features, balancing, visuals, and quality-of-life elements may change or expand during Early Access.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to keep the Early Access price lower while the game is still in development. As new content and features are added, the price may gradually increase. Players who purchase the game during Early Access will continue to receive the updates included with their purchase.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will be an important part of Early Access development. We plan to listen to player feedback through Steam discussions, reviews, community channels, and playtesting.
We want players to help us identify what works, what needs improvement, and which ideas could make Regret & Rewind a better experience and more fun. Feedback will help guide development priorities while the game continues to evolve. Translations would be great from the community too, so we could get people to play game on their own language.

Sell casettes, photos, passport photos, awkward selfies before selfies existed, and memories that probably should have stayed in the shoebox.

Manage your booth, deal with your customers, keep the business running, and try not to mess up someone's passport photo. Again.

Welcome to 1989. Smile. Try not to blink.

Step into the world of 1980s photo development, cassette selling and run your very own photo kiosk. Develop film, process customer orders, manage your workspace, and build your business from the ground up. Keep your customers happy and become the go-to photo kiosk in town!
