Everyone else wants you out

SIDE OUT is a last-side-standing arena game. You hold one edge of a polygon, the ball comes at you, and if it gets past you it costs you a life. You get two. There is nothing to unlock and nothing to read, which is the point, because by the time you have finished wondering what the controls are you have already lost one of them.

Getting knocked out is not the end of your round

Dead players become saboteurs. You drop bumpers, warps and spinners into the arena, then watch the survivors try to read a board that keeps changing. Nobody sits out watching a round they were eliminated from. You just switch sides.

The arena eats itself

Every knockout takes a wall out of the world. Eight sides become six, then four, and the last two players end up staring at each other across a shape with nowhere left to hide. At 75 seconds a second ball joins in, then another every 34 seconds, up to six at once.

Modes

• CLASSIC. Eight players, one polygon, last side standing.
  
• ARENA. Up to twenty players around a ring of obstacles.
  
• PRIVATE ROOM. Send a link, play with exactly who you want.
  
• SOLO. Practice offline against bots.

Your friends do not need Steam

SIDE OUT is one game across every screen it runs on. The Steam version shares its rooms with players on the web and on phones. Same arena, same round, same clock. Send an invite to anyone, on anything.

No waiting

• Bots fill any empty side instantly, so a round never waits for a full room.
  
• Walk in mid-match and you take a bot's place on the spot.
  
• Rounds end in a minute or two.
