The largest living thing on Earth is not a whale. It's a fungus — and you're about to beat its record. Grow a living network from a single spore. Every upgrade changes how your organism behaves, not just a number. No ads. No microtransactions. Just growth.

About This Game

Your progress bar is alive.

In eastern Oregon, a single fungus spans nine square kilometers. It has been growing for over 2,000 years. It is the largest known organism on Earth.

You are going to beat it.

A real living network
Thousands of simulated organisms form veins, highways and feeding clusters. Nothing is scripted — every structure on your screen emerged on its own. It breathes, it retreats when the air dries, and sometimes it sends out a scouting front you never asked for.

Upgrades that change behavior
Metabolism, growth speed, chemical sensing, mycelial density. Watch your colony act differently after every purchase. Mutations are trade-offs, never free wins — melanized armor costs digestion, bioluminescence costs enzyme regen. Your organism ends up looking like nobody else's.

From petri dish to satellite view
Four habitats and an ending: a lab dish at 100x, a rotting log, a toxic forest floor, and finally the Wood Wide Web — symbiosis with tree roots. Then the camera pulls back past the surface, and you find out how you measure against the real record.

Idle, the honest kind
Colonize carcasses for passive income while you're away. But this one has an actual ending (6-10 hours), and prestige that asks a real question: which mutation do you pass to the next generation, price included?

Everything is computed, nothing is drawn
Graphics are a live agent simulation. Sound is synthesized in code. No AI-generated assets. The entire game is smaller than a single screenshot of it.

Field Notes
Nine entries on the real science behind every system — the Tokyo subway experiment, the maze-solving slime mold, the black fungi on the Chernobyl reactor walls. Where we simplify for the game, we say so.
