Why Early Access?

“Early Access will help us improve combat balance, server performance, progression and usability with feedback from real players before the full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We are aiming for a full release in the first quarter of 2027. This is a development target, not a guaranteed release date. The timing will depend on stability, player feedback and the work needed after Early Access begins.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand and refine the game throughout Early Access. Our development priorities include:
- Developing the Volcano party PvE map, which is currently locked.
- Adding a party listing system to help players find groups.
- Expanding class options, including options that are currently locked, and broadening the available skill pool.
- Adding more armor and weapon types.
- Improving class and skill balance, progression, performance, reliability and interfaces.
- Exploring additional MMORPG features based on player feedback.

These are our current development goals, and their scope and priorities may change during Early Access. Please evaluate the game based on the features available today.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current build includes:
- Warrior, Rogue, Mage and Priest characters, character customization, and playable class options and skills.
- Forest PvE with creatures and bosses, and Desert team PvP.
- Equipment, loot, ore and gem gathering, item upgrades and gem sockets.
- Parties, guilds, customizable guild capes, and player and guild rankings.
- Ground and flying mounts.

Some features are still in development: the Volcano party PvE map is currently locked, party listing is being developed, and some class options remain locked. The skill pool and equipment variety are also being expanded.

The game is still in development, and bugs, balance changes and service interruptions may occur.

Before Early Access begins, Playtest characters, inventories, progression, points, rankings and guild data will be reset. Accounts, email registrations and Steam account links will be retained.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Our planned model for Early Access and the full release is free access through level 5, with a paid 30-, 60- or 90-day membership required to play characters above level 5. Membership purchases are one-time purchases without automatic renewal. Playtest access will be free and membership purchases will be disabled during the Playtest. Membership pricing and any additional store offerings will be communicated before they become available.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will use Steam discussions and our website support form to collect bug reports, balance feedback and suggestions. Playtest sessions will help us evaluate server stability and combat, and community feedback will guide development priorities.”

About This Game

Your party in the Forest. Your rivals in the Desert.

Hodrimeydan is a stylized fantasy online RPG combining cooperative boss hunts, team PvP, gathering, and equipment progression. Choose your class, build your character, and explore a world of creatures, rivals, and rewards.

Find your role

  • Choose Warrior, Rogue, Mage, or Priest, each with different class options.

  • Fight up close, cast ranged spells, or support your party.

  • Combine skills, equipment, upgrades, and gems to shape your build.

Challenge the Forest

  • Hunt creatures and challenge bosses, including towering golems and Spider Queens.

  • Read attack warnings, dodge incoming strikes, and coordinate with your party.

  • Collect weapons, armor, and materials to strengthen your character.

Fight in the Desert

  • Battle players from the opposing team in the Desert PvP zone.

  • Choose your targets, support your teammates, and time your attacks.

  • Earn PvP points and compete in player and guild rankings.

Gather, upgrade, and socket

  • Mine ore and crystals: Carry a pickaxe and use your Mining skill to gather Pyrite and six gem types—Quartz, Topaz, Emerald, Sapphire, Citrine, and Ruby.

  • Collect crafting materials: Break deposits to automatically collect their refined materials into your inventory.

  • Upgrade your equipment: Spend Refined Pyrite and coins at the Item Enhancer to improve weapons, shields, and armor up to +3.

  • Add a gem: Rare, Epic, and Legendary equipment supports a gem socket. Use refined crystals and coins to attach or replace a gem.

  • Shape your bonuses: Armor gems grant paired stat bonuses. Weapon gems provide chance-based combat effects and gem-colored visuals.

  • Preview the result: Review material costs and the resulting bonuses before upgrading or attaching a gem.

Make your character your own

  • Customize your character’s body, face, hair, and colors.

  • Collect weapons and armor across multiple rarities.

  • Travel on horses, Pegasus mounts, and dragons.

  • Take to the skies with flying mounts in areas where flight is available.

Carry your guild’s colors

  • Form parties for cooperative hunts and boss battles.

  • Create or join a guild, choose its symbol and color, and wear them on your cape.

  • Compete for your place in the PvE and PvP rankings.

Free start, flexible membership

  • Play free through level 5.

  • Playing characters above level 5 requires an active paid membership.

  • Membership is available in 30-, 60-, or 90-day periods, purchased individually with no automatic renewal.

  • Your characters, equipment, and progress are retained when membership expires. Characters above level 5 become playable again when you renew; characters at level 5 or below remain playable.

  • Renewing an active membership adds time to its existing expiry date. Renewing after expiry starts a new period from the purchase date.

An internet connection and a game account are required. Steam sign-in and linking an existing Hodrimeydan account are supported.

Free access during the Playtest

While your Playtest access is active, you can play beyond level 5 for free. Membership purchases will become available with Early Access.
